Abstract: Stainless steel pipe has excellent characteristics such as corrosion resistance, high strength. portability
and long service life. In recent years the stainless steel pipe is widely used in the fields such as industrial transporta
tion pipeline and mechanical parts. With the rapid development of national economy, stainless steel pipe will have wid
er application prospect. In view of the huge consumer market prospects of stainless steel pipe at home, the new growth
point of the stainless steel consumption market pulled by new policy is discussed. the market characteristies and de-
mands on stainless steel pipe used in electric power industry, automobile industry and water industry are introduced re-
