Chapter 1 General
Article 1 This rule is set up in order to ensure the safe operation of pressure piping, guarantee the safety of people’s lives and property, based on responsibilities of national quality supervision, inspection and quarantine administration department endowed by State Council and the “Rule on safety management and supervision of pressure piping” (hereinafter called as “Rule”).
Article 2 This rule is suitable for safety, quality supervision and inspection for installation of pressure piping (including auxiliary facilities and safety protection equipment, the same below) newly-built, revamped and expanded within the applicable scope of “Rule”.
