    This translation has been made based on the original Japanese Industrial
    Standard revised by the Minister of International Trade and Industry
    through deliberations at Japanese Industrial Standards Committee in
    accordance with the Industrial Standardization Law. Consequently JIS
    E 8641: 1982 is replaced with JIS B 8641: 1999
    In this revision, conformity with normative references and the corre
    sponding International Standard, and revision of the structure in ac
    cordance with dls Z 8801: 1996 are mainly executed

    Introduction This Japanese Industrial Standard has been prepared based on the
    first edition of ISO 1459 Metallic coatings-protection against corrosion by hot dip
    talvanizing-guiding principles and ISO 1461 Metallic coatings-hot dip go
    coatings on fabricated ferrous products-requirements, published in 19 luanized

    1 Scope This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the significant surface(1) of
    hot-dipped zinc coating (hereafter refers to as"coating )for the purpose to prevent
    iron and steel products to serve corrosion resistance, excluding hot-dipped zinc-coated
    steel sheets, zinc-coated iron wire and zinc-coated steel wire. etc

    part in practical use
