Hexagon nuts and hexagon thin nuts

This Japanese Industrial Standard specifies the hexagon nuts made
of steel, stainless steel and nonferrous metal for general purpose
Remarks 1. The hexagon nuts made of steel, stainless steel and nonferrous
metal nuts", and when these are generically called, simp/P s

2. As regards the part grades of nuts, grades of screw threads and
mechanical properties of the nuts, when items other than those
specified in the text of this Standard are required, these shall
be i accordance with JIS B 1021. JIS B 0209 JIS B 0211 JIS
B 1052, JS B 1054 and JIS B 1057.
3. The hexagon nuts which are not in accordance with the text of
this Standard shall be specified in Appendix
4. The standards cited in this Standard are given in Attached
Table
5. The corresponding International Standards of the text of this
Standard are given in Attached Table 2.
2. ypes The types of the nuts shall be 5 types as given in the following:
1) Hexagon nut- Style I
(2) Hexagon nut- Style 2
(3) Hexagon nut
4)Hexagon thin nut-double chamfered
5) Hexagon thin nut-unchamfered
Informative reference: The hexagon nuts of(1)to(3)are those of 0.8.d (d
nominal diameter of screw thread) or over in nominal
height of nut, and these are called"ordinally height
nuts'"in JS B 1052
The hexagon thin nuts of(4)and(5)are th
0.5 d or over to under 0.8 d in nominal height of nut
and these are called the "thin nuts"in JIS B 1052
The thin nuts are read as HIKUNATO"i
accordance with JIS B 0101
3. Shapes, dimensions and qualities The shapes, dimensions and qualities()
shall be in accordance with Table 1
