Abstract: Ir. the present study, the antioxidant responses and lipid p ation in gills and digestie: lands were deter
mined to investigate subchronic toxic effects of solium arsenite on Mytilus gulloprinciadis. The mussels were tx used to
differen d ses of sodium as ite(1, 10, 1 ug/) respectively for onc month, and the enzymatic activities of glutathio
S-transferase (GT ) superoxidase islas (5OD), catalase (CAT)and I
aldehyde (MDA were measured No significant change was observed in, 5), GST activities and SH ntent of
