PS-g-MAH的制备及其增容PS阻燃复合材料的研究

摘要:以聚苯乙烯(PS)为载体,马来酸酐(MAH)为接枝单体,过氧化二异丙苯(DCP)为引发剂,采用熔
融接枝法制备了聚苯乙烯接枝马来酸叶共聚物(S-g-MAH)。考察了MAH用量、DCP用量对PSg-MAI接枝率的影
响。经红外光谱(IR)表征,接枝物为目标产物。将接枝率为3.7%的PS-gMAH作为PS/膨胀阻燃剂/热塑性弹性体
复合材料的增容剂,探讨了增容剂对该复合材料阻燃、力学和加工性能及微观结构的影响。结果表明,当增容剂用量
为12份时,沖击强度达到4.89kI/m2,比未増容时提高了87.4%,拉伸强度仍可保持在21.3MPa。在力学性能得到
改善的同时,复合材料的垂直燃烧可达到V0级,氧指数由27.1%提高到了27.9%,熔体质量流动速率为4.62
g/10mi

Abstract Using polystyrene (PS) as the carrier, maleic anhydride (MAH) as the grafting monomer
and dicumyl peroxide (DCP) as the initiator, the compatibilizer PS"G-MAH was prepared by melt grafting
method. The effects of MAH amount, effect of DCP content on the grafting ratio of PS-G-MAH were investiga
ted. The results of IR showed that graft co-polymer was target product. The PS-G-MAH with grafting ratio
3. 7% was taken as a compatibilizer of PS/intumescent flame retardan thermoplastic elastomer composites
influence of compatibilizer on mechanical properties, flame retardant performance, processability and mi
crostructure was studied. The results showed that when the amount of PS-G-MAH was 12 phr, the impact
strength of composites could reach 4.89 KJ/m, which inereased more than 87.4% compared to that of the
composites without compatibilizer, the tensile strength of composites could still maintain 21.3 Mpa. Flame
retardant performance of PS/intumescent flame retardant/thermoplastic elastomer composites could still reach
FV0 rate, the LO/ increased from 27. 1% to 27.9%, and its melt flow rate was 4.62 g/10min while the me
chanical properties of PS/intumescent flame retardant thermoplastic elastomer composites was improved

聚苯乙烯(PS)被广泛应用于电器、装饰、建燃剂复合材料中又引入了热塑性弹性体苯乙烯-丁二
筑、交通、军工等领域中。然而,FS同大多数聚合烯一苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SBS)、苯乙烯-乙烯一丁
物一样,容易燃烧且放热量大、发烟量大,并释放有烯一苯乙烯嵌段共聚物(SEBS),复合材料的韧性有
毒气体。因此,将PS用于制造防火、安全产品时
